Woodchuck House : A Filipino restaurant near Maginhawa. :)

Maginhawa Street in Quezon City has been famous to all foodies around the Metro. Restaurants with different line of foods are becoming the” talk of the town” that makes all of the restaurants in the area fully occupied.

Good thing is that some entrepreneurs decided to open restaurants near the street of Maginhawa and one of this is “Woodchuck House”.

Woodchuck House is located at The Square 51 Magiting St. Brgy. UP Village Diliman, 1101 Quezon City.  I was surprised to know that one of the co-owners of the restaurant is the well known organizer of Blogapalooza, Ms. Ace Gapuz.

With Ms. Ace Gapuz and our Little Master Jayden Marcus. 🙂

Woodchuck House started last September 15, 2015. This was started due to 3 heads with different ideas & came up with a creative result. They are Ms. Ace Gapuz (Marketing) , Christian Tolentino (Operations) and Bebs Abrillo (Design  & Strategy). Let’s not forget to mention the biggest contribution given by Christian’s mom, Liza Tolentino who shares her recipe with them.

From Left to Right –  Christian, Ace and yours truly. 😛

As I enter the place, I was impressed with the interiors. It gives me the homey feeling because of the compound like area just like our home.  Statements written in different areas is one that catches my attention the most.

It’s an “Eats a Date” sponsored by Open Rice Philippines  http://ph.openrice.com/manila ,  so its time for me to tour you on what food are you going to expect here.

Woodchuck House opens from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm. So literally, They   offer a variety of foods from breakfast, lunch up to dinner time.

For breakfast, they have D I Y All- Breakfast that starts at 138 pesos only.

Tapa + Garlic Rice + Scrambled Egg + Iced Tea = 143 pesos only! 🙂

Hungarian Sausage + Pandesal + Sunny-Side up + Iced Tea = P138 only! 🙂

This D I Y breakfast is very affordable and the thought of  having a freedom on choosing what to compose on your breakfast plate is a thumbs up for me! 🙂

After trying out their breakfast menu, We also tried their Best Sellers for Lunch and Dinner and it’s exceed by expectation. 🙂

Kare Kareng Baka – P248

Classic Pork Adobo Mojos Adobo – P218 only

Crispy Pork Sinigang – P238 only

A highly recommended food for “merienda” is their Mom’s Best Baked Macaroni for P158 only.  Super Cheesy and Yummy as well. 🙂

Lastly, My favorite drink that until now I still crave for. 🙂

” Cuba Daiquiri Sparkling Mocktail”

P78 only! 🙂

Overall, I highly recommend the place because of  all the food I’ve tasted  is a two thumbs up for me! 🙂

The only thing that They need to improve is the ventilation of the place.  They should add One big fan to make the place cooler. 🙂

If you will ask me now if We will still visit the place soon? Definitely We will! 🙂
